A: As an occupational therapist specializing in home safety and fall prevention, I provide comprehensive in-home evaluations to identify and address safety risks. My services include home safety assessments, fall prevention strategies, and pre-surgery home readiness evaluations to ensure a smooth recovery. I also offer training in functional transfers and activities of daily living (ADLs) to help clients move safely and maintain independence in their daily routines.
Note: If occupational therapy services are for medical purposes—such as rehabilitation following injury, surgery, or illness—a referral from a licensed physician is required prior to beginning treatment.
Q3: Do you accept insurance?
A: No, I do not accept insurance. Luminary Health Haven operates as a private-pay, concierge occupational therapy practice. This allows me to provide highly personalized, one-on-one care without the limitations or delays often associated with insurance. You receive focused support on your schedule, with more time dedicated to your specific goals and needs. Upon request, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
Q4: What should I expect during a home safety evaluation?
A: During the evaluation, I assess your home environment for potential hazards and recommend modifications to reduce fall risk and improve safety.
Q5: How do I schedule an appointment?

Q6: What is your cancellation and no-show policy?
A: No-shows or cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will be charged half the service amount. Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance. I understand that emergencies happen and will work with you in those cases—please communicate with me as soon as possible.
